Children learn English by using it: reading short stories together, playing word games, and making a small project each month, such as a poster or a recorded story.
Parents receive a short progress note at the end of the course.
Who it's for
Children aged 8 to 12 who study English at school and want more practice speaking and reading.
What you'll cover
Weeks 1–4: Stories and words
Reading picture stories aloud and learning new vocabulary through games.
Weeks 5–7: Speaking together
Role-plays, show-and-tell and simple presentations.
Weeks 8–10: Our project
Planning, writing and presenting a group project to parents.
By the end of the course
- Read short stories aloud with confidence.
- Talk about themselves, their family and their school in English.
